Long delay to post transaction on register 1

Hello,

RMS install less than 60 days old. we have 2 registers.

register 1 also is the database server.

when ring up sales on register 1, 80% of the time there is a significant delay after a tender is entered and enter is pressed.

Register 2 works fine, tender and enter the receipt prints almost instantly and the drawer opens.

Register 1 has a delay of 20-30 seconds of hang, then the change screen pops up, the receipt prints and the drawers opens.

Any idea would be appreciated.
