We currently have RMS 2.0.2012 POS, Manager, and Admin programs all running on one machine. Is it possible to install the manager program on other computers in the store? We would like to be able to generate POs and check inventory on other computers instead of having to use the actual POS terminal all the time. If I can do this what do I need to install on the other computers? I am running SQL Sever Express 2008 R2. This is how I installed the main system last time.
1) Install SQL Server Express 2008 R2
2) Install RMS from ISO file.
3) Install Feature Pack 1
4) Install service Pack 4
5) Install Feature Pack 2
6) Install Cumulative Update 5
7) Install latest hotfix (currently KB3014738 Hotfix #50)
Should I do the same on the other computers? I'm not sure if I need to install the SQL components or not.
