restarting transactionnumber in store operations

hello,

i want to know if there's a way to restart the transactions in RMS, in this case the customer have 10 stores and need to restart the transaction counter because the store change the name, they want to go from transactionnumber='1245' to transactionnumber='1', im not sure if its posible so need help
