How to add alternate supplier for items of existing supplier in bulk?

I have 4k of items that are associated to a supplier, I want to add an alternate supplier to these items.  What sql command would allow me to do this.   I am guessing I  would have to update supplierlist table with alternate supplier.  Is this close to my solution? Thanks In Advance!!!
