We're running RMS 2.0 on Windows 7. I know I need to leave UAC turned off on the stations being used as cash registers. However, on my bookkeeper's computer, I'd like to keep UAC at the default level. (Yes, she and others surf the Internet on this computer.)
Currently, every login to Store Manager gives the UAC popup ("Do you want to allow this program to make changes?") We can live with this, but it would be nice to avoid it. Any ideas?
For extra credit, what is Store Manager trying to write or modify that triggers the UAC warning upon opening?
