I'm trying, and failing, to add a variable data barcode to my RMS system.
The barcode is from a new supplier we are trailing for steaks.
The barcode is unusual and contains the following information
(21)010000(13)171208(3102)000032
It looks from my googling this is a GS1-128 Type C barcode. The last two characters - the 32- are variable on the produce and determine the weight and thus cost of the item. Nonetheless i cannot get RMS to read the barcode correctly i.e just having a single item entry and it reading the barcode, deciphering the last two variable characters and calculating the price.
We do not have this problem with any other variable data barcodes where typically the first 5 barcode characters identify the item and remaining characters contain the weight / price info. These are easilly setup, no drama.
Any suggestions for me please?
