I've edited and created an xml file for the new receipt style. I've put it into the receipttemplates folder. When I preview the style (Database-> Registers-> Receipt Formats-> Properties), it looks the way I wanted. I restarted POS after clicking OK. When I actually print the receipt, however, it looks different from what's shown on the preview. What would be the issue for this and how to solve it?
I just want all of the characters in descriptions to show (many of my items use all 30 characters). Right now, my preview shows that the description continues to the next line if it's long but the actual printed receipt shows only upto one line per item and therefore only a partial description.
