We get an error when trying to perform Inventory Update option in an Item Receipt which is related to a purchase order in Dynamcs POS 2009 SP1. The error reads: "An error occurred while saving the item receipt. An item on the item receipt may have been deleted from the store database."
We have discovered the cause of this error is not a deleted item from the store database as stated in the message, but actually that additional items not related to the purchase order are being received in the Item Receipt. My question is, if someone knows a quick way to locate these additional items, finding these can be a time consuming task specially when users are dealing with purchase orders containing hundreds of items.
Any advise will be much appreciatted.
