We have programmed 4 verfione devices for one of our customer recently. They have reported some issues since it has been setup.
1. Customer started getting Technical Error in EDC settlement. They never had this issue in last 7 years while they were using Hypercom with TPI or with Magtek IPAD with RRMPS. Payment processor says that it is adding any spcecial character ( like + - , . .....) in the begining of the card number sometimes more then 1 special character. They are using 1 tender type so Validation Mask cannot be applied. But i dont think Validation Mask can be a reason since it never happened in last 5 to 7 years with them. Any suggestions, solutions ?
2. Verifone Devices turns of automatically anytime. Means the screen shows active by displaying the tender amount etc etc but swipe light on the verifone devices stays off and it does not take the card swiped. It comes back on by itself after 10 ot 15 min sometime after 30 min or if you restart ( power off and on ) the verifone device it gets fixed. Any suggestions or solutions ?
3. Verifone deivce is showing a very small font size for the tender amount, did anyone found out the solution ? or from verifone ?
4. When you ring up the items on the POS it shows the item on the verifone when you add another item it replaces the first item and displays the second one. Means on verifone it is displaying the most current item entered on the POS during the transaction. Any suggesstions or solutions ?
5. Vefione does not show " Swip the Card " when card needs to be swiped, any luck with the form ?
